Eva Mallis, the daughter of Greek immigrant parents, grew up in Astoria, Queens. She currently resides in Long Island City and her pursuit in street photography is inspired and influenced by her years of experience in a local family business. Eva's acute photographic street smartness is storytelling that begins in the boroughs of Queens and Brooklyn and extends to the factories of Morocco and the markets of India and town squares of Greece.
