LICA is a grassroots, member-driven organization whose goals and character are defined by the creative ideas of each artist who participates. The LICA calendar for 2012 is full of new opportunities and initiatives that will enhance the importance of being a member of our artist community. We will be continuously adding to our list of exhibitions and special LICA-SPONSORED EVENTS in which you, as a LICA member, can participate:
In 2012 your annual membership dues of $50. will entitle you to:

Participate in LICArmoryFest in conjunction with Armory Arts Week March 8-11, 2012

Inclusion in LIC Artists Open Studios with no additional fees

Invitation to monthly “Show and Tell” studio gatherings hosted by LICA

Opportunities for LICA-curated exhibitions during the calendar year in venues located throughout the NYC Metro area

Include 6 images of your artwork on the LICA website

Exposure to an extensive group of dealers, collectors, galleries, film studios, building owners and local businesses

Receive information on opportunities for networking, grants, workshops, residencies, etc.
If you wish to participate in the LICArmoryFest exhibition, you must renew your membership promptly. Only current members will be allowed to participate. Full details and submission forms will be sent to you upon receipt of your dues check. Deadline is February 6, 2012.
As we prepare for LICA 2012, please take the time to commit to our goals by becoming a member or renewing your membership. We hope we can count on your support and your input for our program for this year. We also welcome your ideas and input on how best to serve and represent our artists’ community.
