Yoon Cho
As an interdisciplinary artist, Yoon Cho works with video and photography. Her work examines the relationship between individuals and their environments.
Recently, Cho participated in “Exhibition Imago Mundi,” Collateral Event of the 55th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale. Her work has been featured in the US and Europe, including the Islip Art Museum; Chelsea Art Museum, NYC; Austin Museum of Art; Museum of Fine Arts, Tallahassee; Korean Cultural Service NY; Arario Gallery, NYC; Dallas Center for Contemporary Art; The LAB, San Francisco; Centro de Cultura Contemporanea, Barcelona; and Circulo de Bellas Artes, Madrid.
She received the Artist’s Grant from Vermont Studio Center Residency. She was a visiting artist at Ringling College of Art. Collection of her work includes Luciano Benetton Collection, Italy.
Cho received a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and a MFA from Parsons School of Design. She was born in Seoul, Korea in 1973.
