Wenny Chang
Wenny is a ceramic artist whose work explores the intersection of form, texture, and emotion. Drawing inspiration from nature’s imperfection and quiet balance, she creates sculptural and functional pieces that celebrate the tactile beauty of clay. Each work begins with an intuitive process: shaping, carving, and layering glazes, resulting in surfaces that evoke both fragility and resilience. Originally trained in photography, Wenny discovered ceramics as a medium for translating inner reflection into tangible form. Through the rhythm of hand-building and wheel-throwing, she seeks to capture stillness, memory, and movement in material form.
