Ellen Mandelbaum is internationally recognized for her innovative architectural stained glass commissions, particularly for glass painting. Enjoy a demonstration of her unique use of traditional techniques; almost the same ones used by medieval artists for the great cathedrals. See powdered metal oxides, a range of special brushes like blenders and silver stain that revolutionized the art form, and is the origin of the word stained glass.

Visitors are invited to linger, ask questions, and see the special kiln, mouth blown glass and wonderful water colors and artwork arounds the studio.
