A Vessel Embracing the Universe
From childhood, I was drawn to the vast mystery of the universe—its stars, planets, and infinite depth. While studying art, I came to see myself as a single “•” (dot), a point of existence and origin. This symbol became the foundation of my artistic journey to understand the relationship between the self and the cosmos through an Eastern perspective on nature.
My work explores themes such as the encounter and unity of self and universe, heaven and earth, and the interconnectedness of all life. The “•” represents both myself and the universe, inseparable and cyclical. Inspired by the Big Bang and the idea that we are made of star matter, I seek to express the merging of microcosm and macrocosm—where spirit, matter, and energy coexist as one. Through my work.
