Nancy Lee Cidoni

As an artist, the pieces I create are really a representation of me as a person; how I observe and interpret the world. I try to capture the soul, the heartbeat, the essence if you will, of the earth around us, its many colors, shapes and textures working in unison to inspire me to create in a variety of mediums. Some examples include my painting, "Fallen Star" which is a continuation of a series of drawings that encapsulate a belief that we are one with the tides, the moon and the stars. The Illuminate of Spring, my latest iteration of welded steel which is caressed with hints of gold and silver leaf arousing a curiosity in the abstract. And Maria, my most recent sculpture which provokes feelings of humanity and sensuality...It is my hope that my work will spark in you a sense of curiosity.
