Mary Hawkins

Mary Hawkins is an art director, animator and designer based in NYC whose focus is collage and typography-driven motion graphics and illustration. Her personal projects use bold shapes and bright color choices to bring playfulness and whimsy to nonfiction animation. "Love Letters for the Subway" has been shown at film festivals locally and internationally, and was projected on the front of the Vladem Contemporary Art Museum in Santa Fe, NM. Her prints from Love Letters have been in group shows including "The World's Borough" at Flushing Town Hall/The Smithsonian and The Bushwick Gallery.
