Artist Statement:
At this point in my life I've worked with a plethora of materials and have begun incorporating them into works of fine art that I've been entering into gallery shows, even as I continue my theatre work. Having studied photography and filmmaking in high school, I have enhanced some of my photos with the addition of paint, objects and epoxy. Having grown up on the Cape and Martha's Vineyard where we started recycling decades ago, my most recent artistic endeavor involves finding old plain glass vases and up-cycling them with paint and metallic leaf, giving them a second and more glamorous life.
