June Kosloff
My art ranges from iconic animals to abstract mixed media. Currently, my art practice is a celebration of animals that I have photographed on my recent travels and comprises a series of farm animals-specifically chickens. I am inspired by the elegance, courage, power, and significance to humans that they hold in our everyday existence and their relationship to climate change. We rely on animals for for a great deal and I wish to honor that. Currently, I am Board member at Local Project Gallery Space in LIC, NY. I am the executor of the Dick Lubinsky art collection, which has shown at the American Visionary Art Museum, Erie Art Museum, Fountain Gallery, and numerous art fairs.
