Julian Turovsky

I am a fine artist, illustrator, and animator. My practice revolves around depicting the uncanny and the unusual. During my artistic evolution, I transitioned from traditional media to digital media and became more motivated to step out of my comfort zone. My artwork originates from the very core of my creative thoughts.

In my mind, I envision thousands of subjects: A Ukrainian village, a spider-robot, a humanoid insect monster flying towards a sea cave, Dragons in a cave, zombies in a forest, etc. My work mainly focuses on surrealist scenes, but I do not limit myself to that subject. My current practice involves writing stories, creating illustrations, animations, printmaking, painting, drawing, etc. Whenever I create a new art piece, I always tell a story.
