Hernando Restrepo

I often turn to photography or cuts of paper from which to embark on my painting. The one thing about working in the city it allows me to search for ideas to apply to my work. I like the idea of painting different patterns of colors and using paper, fabrics ,paint, charcoal. I like the idea of putting together found objects. A sense of balace of colors is very important when I'm working on a painting or a collage. Sometimes looking through old newspapers inspired me to create art. The used of wood and other materials allows me to form sculptures by recycling found objects..
