Emily Frisch

Artist and fashion designer working between the Catskills and NYC. Specializing in textiles and womenswear made from natural fibers and dyed botanically. Emily's work combines natural dyeing, pattern making, and material storytelling to explore how memory, ecology, and tradition inform our somatic sense of self.

Frisch treats dye as an intentional process of sourcing, fermentation, transformation. Each garment carries traces of its origins. Her pieces remain porous—open to light, air, and time—and invite reflection on how clothing holds meaning and hopefully foster a gentler mode of living.

Alongside this work, Frisch has also contributed to textile and color trend forecasting, couture production, and costume design.
