Growing up in Nizhny Tagil, one of the most industrialized and polluted cities in Russia, I witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of human activity on the natural world. From a young age, I saw how unchecked industrialization and pollution could ravage the environment, leaving behind scars that marred the landscape and poisoned the air and water.

As an artist, I channel my experiences and emotions into my work, using the power of art to raise awareness about the fragility of our planet and the urgent need for environmental stewardship. Central to my practice is a commitment to sustainability and eco-consciousness. Recognizing the harmful effects of traditional acrylic paints on the environment, I have chosen to eschew these materials in favor of natural pigments mixed with water.
