Caroline M. Sun
Caroline M. Sun is a visual artist in Queens, NY. Her work, in acrylic on canvas, explores the secret and emotional lives of animals. Her pieces have been exhibited throughout the tri-state area and are in private collections in New York City, Washington, D.C., Savannah, GA, and London, UK.
In my work, I look for the emotional moment between animals and ourselves. I create intuitively, experiment with tones of color and dimensionality, and infuse a narrative quality in my pieces. Each of my animals imparts a distinct individual essence, a unique “soul” and expression of being.

Caroline passed away December 9, 2014, after a long fight against cancer.
A Memorial Service honoring her life and creative work is scheduled for February 6, 2015.
