Long Island City Artists, Inc. is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) arts advocacy organization with a mission to increase the development and visibility of professional and emerging artists in Long Island City, New York.


Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and out of concern for the safety of our visitors and staff, the Plaxall Gallery has closed it's doors until further notice. We will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.

This is a call for submissions of recent drawings by artists from throughout New York City. Drawings should be completed during this period of confinement, and all approaches to drawing are welcome.

Someone Will Remember Us - Even in a Different Time



Curator sought by LIC Artists for pop-up exhibition Dreams Imagined – Visions Fulfilled,  June 12-14 at Plaxall Gallery. In conjunction with the Astoria Music Project’s 2019-20 season, Music, She Wrote, this exhibit will explore how female-identifying visual artists and composers alike portray the idea of dreams - both literal and metaphorical. This project is funded by NYSCA and fiscally sponsored by the New York Foundation for the Arts.
