Norah Springer earned a BFA in Studio Art at the University of Wisconsin. She went on to participate in a two year artist residency program, pursuing her own craft and helping facilitate and direct collaborative shows, community artwork and creative outreach in New York City.  Her work consists of mixed media and print making.
This series, entitled, "Just Off the Road," include short snippets and snapshots that all have some sort of connection to my childhood memories of growing up in northern Wisconsin. There and gone. This intersects with the way we seek rest and rejuvenation: In nature and in simplicity. In many instances, like the title, we pass these places by on our way to somewhere else.
