Nancy Rouse
What defines an individual? Is it their success, beauty, strength, or accomplishments? In our everyday lives, we are constantly adapting to our surroundings. We experience triumphs and hardships. Every day there are adaptations where we give up or lose parts of ourselves then reinvent and change who we are, our journey to thrive. When tragedy, disappointments, and failures strike, these moments can leave us in a mentally emotional fragmented state. Beauty is taking fractures and pieces of one’s self to adapt and to become anew. It is ok to have failures to be momentarily broken. The strength lies in what one does with their fragments. What defines an individual is what they do with the pieces. Time to heal, reassemble, rewrite, create art, and start again.
