Linda Arnold is an award-winning landscape painter whose recent work captures the unique dynamic between representation and abstraction. Her landscapes can be read as either a perspective on the natural world or as a uniting of abstract forms. An accomplished plein air painter, she was chosen as the 2011 Andy Warhol Artist in Residence, a prestigious award given to an artist to pursue artistic endeavors at the Andy Warhol Preserve in Montauk, Long Island.
Linda Arnold has an active exhibition schedule with work in many private and public collections. A recipient of numerous awards, she was honored for her commitment to the National Academy and School of Fine Art in 2008. She had a solo exhibit at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Ligonier Valley, Pennsylvania in 2016.
