At three years old, I was twirling through rooms in tutus and ballet shoes, always dreaming, always drawing.
Twenty-two years later, that little girl lives on, inspired by movement, dance and the magical world of fashion. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2015 with a BFA in Fashion Design and a focus in eveningwear, bridal and intimate apparel. Now, I am a fashion designer professionally, though I will first and foremost always be an artist. Each work that I produce uses a combination of my two personalities, with ballet always acting as my number one source of inspiration. If I am not painting a ballerina, then I am incorporating one’s movement into the piece. Whether it be with texture, color or brushstrokes, movement continues to be the overachi.
