I am interested in the struggle between finding a stability or support system, then coming to terms with the illusion of its existence. My materials show this struggle as I juxtapose tangible or intangible notions of fragility within constructs that seem to fundamentally serve as permanent systems. With a process of decollage, building then ruining, temporality to permanence, recognition and identifying, a truth that comes from differentiating conditioning from actuality is the interconnected lattice that weaves my work together.
