Jane Levy

I am drawn to portraits. My hope is an expressive vision. I draw what I see with care and love and attention and then I step back to see who has emerged.

I have also taken on a hobby of drawing musicians in pen and ink. This began with fiddlers in the back of a pub in Edinburgh. I try to capture the music in the player.

Lofty goals. Keeps me working.

I have studied art at Hunter College High School, Harvard University, The National Academy of Design, and The Art Students League of New York (current).
