Light and shadow have a way of defining a space and marking out a moment in time. By capturing these moments, it makes me aware of myself and my connection to the world and merges my personal time to a universal timeline. That is what I seek through the mediums of photography, drawing and painting.

​

I am continually sensing the changes in my awareness and my emotional reactions as I make images. Part viewer and part maker, the end result is an interplay of the exterior world and my inner state. I compose the abstract elements to set a mood. I seek signifiers in the imagery that share a theme – time, connection, isolation, potential, growth, balance.

Through sharing these images I hope the viewer can find their entry point to their own moments of awareness.
