Binna Kim

I am a self-taught artist. Also, I am a professional floral designer and a window decorator working in New York. 
I have been spending most of my 20s and early 30s with beautiful flowers. After I came to New York, I started to do window displays using natural materials and my own artwork. This was the trigger to develop my talents as an artist even further. 

My two big inspirations are emotions and nature. I tend to draw with pencil and watercolors because I feel that brings out the best of abilities to show the different elements of nature. 
The process of using emotions into my work is a great way of relieving negativity inside of me. I create something because this is the only way that I can be free from all the vulnerabilities that I have held and painful memory.
