Ayakoh Furukawa-Leonart
Art is nothing but everything to my life. I approach my work with trepidation. As it evolves, I am in the moment, and it becomes transcending. I never know where it will be. I will never understand the mystery that propels the making of Art. To me, Art is not methodology, rather philosophy or my life. Engaging Art deepens my life and makes me a whole human. Though this incomprehensible yet fascinating process, I delight in being transcended. I continue to explore various approaches for my Art, probably until the last day of my life. ....Smile. Born in Japan and moved to New York in 2000. BFA and MFA from Hunter College, CUNY, 2004 and 2007 respectively.
