Mia Incantalupo
I am 19 years old and just beginning art school at SVA, where I plan to major in animation, should all go well. Currently, I do not have an art studio and just kind of work wherever I can in my house. While away at school last year I ended up doing oil paintings in my dorm room with my foster cat by my side. It is in no way professional, but was quite enjoyable. At the moment work is mostly experimental. Most of the pieces I attached are experimental. The skull, for instance, was a three hour test of oil paint, which I'd never used before. I'm still dabbling in a variety of media and just figuring out what I like as I try to get the foundations of drawing down. I'm still sort of testing the waters but hope to someday develop a stronger style and greater confidence in my work.
