Jon Garfield

I sculpt the human figure in terracotta clay, using a classical figurative approach but incorporating a modern narrative. The context for each figure is often suggested by the personality and gesture of the model. Their sculpted environments are usually informed by the issues of our time such as climate change, intolerance, over consumption. But sometimes the narrative is just about having creative fun.
