Jiyoun Lee-Lodge
My kaleidoscopic paintings, drawings, printmaking, and installations deal with my identity in flux through memory reconstruction. Influenced by infographics, animations and hieroglyphs, I depict each element as shapes and characters to give an individual identity. Symbolized figures and iconized marks are staged on open and abstract fields to recreate my past. This process allows me to portray a sense of self and time in which I live.

Some are merged
