Edjo Wheeler

Edward Joseph Wheeler (Edjo) has called New York City home for the past 16 years and art started for him at an early age. The memories of his fashion illustrator mother teaching him to draw horses, to watching his blue-collar father "MacGyver" the world around him. This combined with extensive time left on his own, created a melting pot of imagination and design, to build the world his mind escaped to in the form of drawings and sculptures.
In 2011 he began studies in welding and metalwork to give voice to his latest creations of steel and wood. The goal has always been to be able to manifest deep visions of hope, fear, and desire. He strives to blend together a relationship of organic and industrial materials into the art you see today.
