My pastels, done in both color and black and white are created both from observation and imagination. I am not concerned with a particular place as my work is more of a "landscape of the soul". I am interesting in the healing meditative quality of art. Light and atmosphere play an important part in my work. Beauty as well as the powerful forces of nature always come into play. I enjoy exploring the effect that size has on my work- my drawings may be 2" x 2" or 44" x 60".
