Statement: I have been making art since I can remember. Basically self-taught, my work is mostly representational and varied with botanicals, land and seascapes. I sometimes edge on the abstract. My interest in botanicals started while studying at Hofstra. The structures and beauty of the specimens stirred my interest both scientifically and artistically. I enjoy the challenge that these subjects provide me: their special and distinctive beauty, their anatomy and movement as they follow the light to the next pose.
