I am a landscape/seascape artist. The goal of my work is to translate my impressions of Nature. I use palette knife quite a bit and like to create texture and movement by layering colors. I employ a variety of surfaces to paint on -- canvas, paper, linoleum, galvanized metal, masonite and wood.
I am fascinated by Mother Earth. She is powerful, raw, abstract and perfect -- she is my muse. She is always moving, changing, growing and evolving. I strive to emulate Her in my work and in all my undertakings.
My affinity for color and texture are evident in a body of work that shouts with life, urgency, anticipation and new beginnings.
