What interests me in the process of painting is the possibility of reorganizing our perception of reality. I navigate between arbitrary figurative elements originated by the mind and the abstract representation of those elements in a search for a certain new exactitude. Inspired by everyday, simple situations, I am motivated by the need to share a visual perspective in an unconventional ways.
Also In much of my work there is the idea of "Passage". In the same way I find ways around obstacle, I am looking in my painting for specific ways to enter the space by creating new ones, allowing the viewer to hopefully stay interested and occupied in order to stimulate curiosity in a visual and emotional sense. Each of my paintings presents its own problems and the solution comes from the every day working process, in a pull push motion.
Expression through painting, drawing, cinematography, and photography, has always emerged on its own as an imperative, without needing consent.
