Tony Mavilia is a Queens artist who holds a Masters degree in History. He has studied art both in the US and abroad. This includes study at Studio Arts Center International (SACI) in Florence, Italy and Parsons School of Art and Design in New York, as well as The Nantucket Island School of Art and Design He has studied Lithography and Etching at the Art Students League.
Tony was awarded a studio as Artist in Residence at Cooper Union in 2000. He has also exhibited annually with the Abingdon Square Painters since 1991 and is currently Director of their studio in The Long Island City Art Center.
