Eleanor Rahim was born in London. Always painting and drawing as a child, she eventually went on to obtain a Foundation Course in Art and Design and a BA (Hons) Graphic Design. After college, she worked in a graphic design studio where she discovered her love for decorative illustration.
Eleanor started her art and design licensing business in London and continues with her career in New York City having relocated in 2007. She joined the Art Students League of New York and received a commendation in her first group show. Her painting was selected to participate in the ASL's annual prestigious Red Dot Show.
Realizing her true passion for fine art, she spends as much time as possible in her Long Island City studio, just across the East River from Manhattan, and is still enjoying her successful career as a designer. She has the privilege to study with abstract painter Ronnie Landfield at the League and is a member of Long Island City Artists organization.
